Brenda & Ryan, Engagement Photos, Spring, TX

When Brenda contacted me about shooting her engagement session it was one of those e-mails that bring tears to my eyes, the kind that assures me that I must be doing something right with this photography thing and following my dreams and pursuing a career in something I love. She’s the friend of another very good client and apparently she’s been appreciating my work for a while. The e-mail was full of phrases like “after browsing your website I am more in love with your talent”. Brenda, you killed me, right there. So, of course I had to shoot her and Ryan’s engagement photos.

They are an awesome couple, and you can totally tell they are completely in love. They’ve known each other for some time, first meeting in a Blink182 chatroom. After 5 years of online friendship they were randomly both in Austin at the same time, for different events, and decided to to meet up. The rest is history. I loved getting to know them through their session, and getting a peak into their love for each other through their intimate whispers, giggles and silly faces. It was a cold day and mostly overcast until at one moment, at the perfect time, the sky opened up and the sunset was magnificent, like a celebration.
